Please read all of our booking and travel policies below before booking a trip. It is imperative that registrants follow these policies. If you have any questions about our travel packages and booking, please contact us.

How to Book a TripThere are several ways you can book a trip:
  • Book online with a credit card.
  • NOTE: The bank charges a non-refundable 3% processing fee for credit card payments.
  • Complete the online registration form, print and mail or fax it to us with appropriate deposit or full payment.
  • Download our booking form in PDF format (35K) and mail or fax it to us with appropriate deposit or full payment.

The Booking Process

The Booking Process
  1. Complete the booking form and send either online or by mail or fax to us with your deposit or full payment. Please note that your registration will not be processed until appropriate deposit is received.
  2. When we receive your payment, we'll send you a traveler's profile and a consent form to complete. Traveler's profiles and consent forms are valid for two years.
  3. Booking is not complete until both forms and a current traveler's photo are returned to us.
  4. Booking will be accepted after the due date if space is still available, but the package price is subject to airfare increases.
  5. Full payment is due 90 days before departure for Hawaii, Alaska, NASCAR, cruises and international trips, or 60 days before departure for all other trips. If full payment is not received before the trip, your payment and your space on the trip may be forfeited unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
  6. Make your reservation early to guarantee your space! Online bookings are only accepted with credit card payment for required deposit or full package price. Due to rising bank charges there is an additional 3% charge for all credit card payments. If you elect to pay by check, please mail a completed registration form with your check for deposit or full payment.

Simplified Deposits

Simplified DepositsHawaii, Alaska, cruises and international trips have a deposit of $800, and full payment is due 90 days before departure. All other trips have a deposit of $500, with full payment due 60 days before departure.

Personal Trip Cancellation Insurance

Personal Trip Cancellation InsurancePlease ask us at the time you register about optional trip cancellation insurance. We strongly recommend the purchase of insurance to protect yourself from unforseen medical emergencies.

Medication Policy

Medication PolicyTrips Inc. medication policy will be mailed two weeks before trip departure along with coin envelopes for travelers' medications. The envelopes must be clearly labeled with the traveler's name, along with day, date and time medication is given. For safety and consistency, it is imperative that registrants follow these policies. These specifications do not apply to participants who are self medicating.


Refund Policy

Refund PolicyAll cancellations and changes must be in writing!
Cancellations & Changes Refunds & Charges
Changes or cancellations up to 90 days prior to departure (Alaska, Hawaii, cruises, international) $150 processing fee and any pre-purchased portion of the vacation package
Changes or cancellations 89-46 days prior to departure (Alaska, Hawaii, cruises, international) Full deposit and any pre-purchased portion of the vacation package
Changes and cancellations within 45 days prior to departure and no-shows (Alaska, Hawaii, cruises, international) 100% of package price
Changes or cancellations up to 60 days prior to departure (domestic) $150 processing fee and any pre-purchased portion of the vacation package
Changes or cancellations 59-31 days prior to departure (domestic) Full deposit and any pre-purchased portion of the vacation package
Changes and cancellations within 30 days prior to departure and no-shows (domestic) 100% of package price
Incomplete paperwork For reasons of safety, travelers may lose their space on the trip if necessary paper work is not received by due date. Change/cancellation penalties may apply.
Weather delays No refund for cancellations or delays due to weather.
Airport/departure city change Changes to airport/departure city after tickets are issued is considered a change in itinerary and penalties will apply.
Lack of proper identification No refund will be issued if the traveler is refused boarding due to lack of proper identification.
Unpaid balances Trips Inc. reserves the right to cancel reservations that are not paid at any time after final payment is due in which case cancellation penalties will apply.
