How to Book a Trip

There are two easy ways you can book a trip:

1. Hit the Book Now button next to the trip you want to sign up for or visit our Trip Registration page to fill out the secure and encrypted online registration form. Our website is using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. This lets you know that all your communication and data is secure and encrypted on our website. For more details please review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
 

2. If you would like support in completing the registration form please contact us at 541-686-1013 or 1-800-686-1013.

The Booking Process

1. REGISTRATION & PROFILE: Once we receive your registration and profile, we will email you any additional required paperwork and your trip invoice. Your spot on a trip is guaranteed only when all required paperwork is complete/approved and the trip deposit has been received.

​2. CONFIRMATION: After the required paperwork and deposit have been received, we will send you a confirmation email along with other important vacation information, including further details on travel insurance (which is highly recommended).
 

​3. PAYMENT: Full payment is due 120 days before departure for Hawaii, cruises and international trips, or 90 days before departure for all other trips. If full payment is not received by the due date, your payment and space on the trip will be forfeited unless special arrangements have been made in advance.

Late Booking Fee

Book early to ensure a spot on the trip of your choice!

Booking may be accepted after the “Book By” date specified next to the trip, but the package price is subject to airfare increases and late booking fees.  Call the office to inquire about availability 541-686-1013.

Trips that close 90 days out (domestic continental U.S.): if there is space and time permitting (up to 60 days before the trip departs) we can add a person for a $150.00 fee plus any extra airfare.
 

Trips that close 120 days out (Hawaii, cruises and international): if there is space and time permitting (up to 90 days before the trip departs) we can add a person for a $250.00 fee plus any extra airfare.

Trip Deposits

Hawaii, cruises and international trips have a deposit of $1,200, and full payment is due 120 days before departure.  All other domestic trips have a deposit of $800, with full payment due 90 days before departure.

  • What is included in the package price?

Round trip airfare is included in our package price is based on departure from Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City for flights in the continental United States. For Hawaii, international destinations, and cruises, round trip airfare is included from Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco. Additional costs may apply for other departure cities.   • What level of support do you provide?
    Our support ratio is one chaperone for every 4 travelers. Trips Inc.™ chaperones assist travelers with medications, spending money, and prompts for bathing, hygiene, dressing and using the restroom. Travelers who require any hands-on personal care for hygiene or medical reasons will need to bring a personal care provider for their safety and well-being. We assess the needs of our travelers before each trip to ensure we have the best support plan in place for them to travel safely.
  • Can I still register for a trip after the “Book By” date?

  • Can we send a care provider with our traveler who has extra support needs?
    Absolutely! We have many travelers who bring their own care providers. It is the traveler’s responsibility to pay for their care provider to go on the vacation including their daily rate. Care providers pay the same all-inclusive package price as the traveler. Travelers and their care providers will be upgraded to a private room on most trips.
  • Are your vacations wheelchair accessible?
    Several of our trips are wheelchair accessible! Lift vans are also available at some destinations. Please review the accessibility notes and activity level for each trip before booking. These can be found in our travel brochure and on specific trip detail page on our website when reviewing upcoming trips.
  • How does a traveler get to their destination if they live in another state?
    Trips Inc.™ has a certified travel agent who will arrange air transportation from your area to the vacation destination. Chaperone accompaniment is guaranteed out of Portland, Oregon. Since we serve travelers from every state in the country, we will arrange to meet you at our final destination. For our travelers who fly unaccompanied, airline-assisted gate transfers will be requested for any flight connections. Plus, airline gate assistance passes can be obtained to walk travelers through airport security and directly to their flight departure gate. We will meet travelers at their flight arrival gate at the final destination. All travelers must have a current REAL ID or U.S. Passport to travel by air for all trips starting May 7, 2025.

For travelers who live in the State of California

Trips Inc.™ is a registered Seller of Travel in the State of California, Registration number 2153106-50. California law requires sellers of travel to have a trust account of bond. Trips Inc.™ has a bond issued by Hudson Insurance Company in the amount of $10,000.00. Trips Inc.™ is not a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.
